Timothy Agnew, NCBTMB, NATA, LMT, has been in private practice in Sarasota since 1996. He completed the ATC (Athletic Trainer Certified) course requirements under the guidance of Dr. Carl Cramer at Barry University in Miami, and finished the program at the University of South Florida. He is co-author of the textbook Kinesiology for Manual Therapies (McGraw Hill, 2010). Timothy has been an educator in the health field for over 20 years, presenting seminars to international and regional conferences, students, and the general public. He is an adjunct therapist for the Pittsburgh Ballet, serving as an integrated body movement coach. At his clinic in Sarasota, he specializes in improving the quality of life for his patients, which include Olympic athletes, renowned artists and dancers, as well as stroke, MS, and Parkinson’s patients. In 1998, Timothy formed Intent Multimedia, an educational media company that produced the DVD’s CFTE: Assisted Clinical Flexibility DVD , and Dynamic Flexibility: a Safe and Effective Self-Stretching Program. As a fiction writer, his short stories have appeared in Skylark (Purdue University Calumet), the book A Cup of Comfort, and the Roanoke Review. He is currently working on a crime novel.
